Last game of the season

Tonight Rangers travel through to Dunfermline tonight in the final game of the season looking to either win or draw and therefore claim the record of going through the entire league campaign undefeated!

.
And for those that missed it, here is a link to Ally McCoist’s emotional address to the fans from last weeks match:

With regards to the sad news of the passing of Sandy Jardine, Contributor Gary Havlin has written an excellent article on Sandy Jardine for the CoplandRoad.org. Well worth taking the time to read it:

Ramsdens Cup Final ! Rangers vs Raith Rovers

The first match of our cup double-header is upon us as we face Raith Rovers in the final of Ramsdens Cup tonight. Kick-off is 11:05pm and will be shown live via Rangers TV in the Trafalgar.

Also, if you have an hour to spare, then I would highly recommend watching this interview between Ally McCoist & Sandy Jardine. In fact, if you don’t have an hour to spare, make one, as this is highly informative and most enjoyable:

Hope to see you in the Trafalgar as we look to lift some more silverware!

Champions Rangers vs Dunfermline at Ibrox

Rangers clinched the Division 1 Championship title during the week after overcoming Airdrie in one of our most convincing performances of the season. Our captain Lee McCulloch scored a first-half hat-trick to secure the title – something Roy of the Rovers would have been proud of!

To date Rangers have played 28 matches, won 26 and drawn 2. We have yet to lose in the league whilst scoring 87 goals and conceding just 14 for a goal difference of +73.
.
Tonight we welcome Dunfermline to Ibrox as the focus will no doubt move to the Cups with our Scottish cup replay versus Albion Rovers to come in the early hours of Tuesday morning and then the Ramsden’s Cup Final versus Raith Rovers on Sunday, 6th April
The match tonight kicks off at 8:30pm and will be shown live in the Trafalgar via Rangers TV.
.
Off the pitch, Dave King has arrived in Scotland and has already held meetings with some of the shareholders in London as well as meeting the Union of Fans.

Hold… Steady……

In the very early hours of tomorrow morning Rangers can clinch the SPFL Division 1 title by defeating Airdrie at Ibrox. Kick-off is 3:45am.
A draw would still keep it mathematically possible, even though Dunfermline, who come to visit this Saturday, have a goal difference 53 goals worse off than ours!
.
Tonight will certainly give the players a chance to bounce back from the disappointing performance at the weekend. Thankfully we did enough to get a draw in what was turning into “one of those games”. 33 attempts on goal prove that at least we are still creating a barrel-load of chances so to say Albion Rovers led a charmed life would be an understatement!
In the interest of balance, Albion Rovers created 3!
.
In other news the contract with Media House and therefore with “toxic Jack” Irvine was finally cancelled yesterday. Good news for fan pressure although there is still a long long way to go!
