Thanks to those that attended the recent AGM. It was a relief to finally get it done after a few call-offs!

Some of the key highlights include a few changes to committee positions including myself standing down as president – 10 years has been quite enough!
I’d therefore like to formally congratulate Darren Hosie as the new president of the club – he is a virtual ever-present at all the games, so I know we are in very good hands.
Personally, I will continue on as part of the committee as I have replaced Richard Bulgin as secretary. Thanks for your efforts Richard.
Thanks also go out to our outgoing treasurer Gary Stewart who will be departing Hong Kong shortly. Alistair MacLeod has stepped forward to replace Gary.
Also thanks to Brian Buchanan for his help on the committee prior to his departure back to Scotland.
In my new role, I’ll endeavour to get the minutes out from the AGM in the not to distant future.

Gary & Keys Dinner
I’m delighted to say we have filled up our first table for the upcoming charity dinner with Andy Gray & Richard Keys. A number of you contacted me to say you are still waiting on work & travel commitments, so at the moment we have our second table half filled too. If any of you know for sure now, please let me know, or if you have still to get in touch, please do so as soon as possible.

Rangers v Livingston (a)
For the match tonight, this will be shown live in the Trafalgar – there was a doubt as they had some (much needed!) renovations this week, but all has been completed and the bar will be open for us as normal. Kick-off is 10pm and will be shown via Rangers TV.

Due to a large number of existing members not able to attend the AGM scheduled for this Friday, we have decided to postpone until the start of the season.
The likely date will be Friday, 15th August.

The Hong Kong Rangers RSC AGM will take place at 7pm on Friday, 11th July 2014.
Points of note:
– Further details on the finalised venue to follow.
– Minutes from the previous AGM will be re-sent in due course.
– Agenda items to be sent to info@rangers.hk by 7pm, Friday, 5th July 2014.
– Membership fee renewal date is 1st July 2014 (PayPal requests for money will be sent to all existing members).

We are in the process of making a commemorative program for the upcoming 2013 ORSA AGM hosted in Hong Kong. We are looking for all member ORSA clubs as well as RSC’s from around the globe plus of course any businesses or individuals to take an advertisement out in the programme and show their support to this growing event.
The prices are AUS$50 / HK$400 / £34 for a half page advertisement and AUS$100 / HK$800 / £68 for a full page.
We plan to make around 150 of the programs as a memento for what is sure to be a great weekend; all profits will go to fund future ORSA events.
All interested parties need to send their advertisements and payment to the details below by the 1st of April but the earlier the better.
