Gers vs the Spiders

Needless to say it was a bitterly disappointing display last week at Tannadice when, like the fans, only a few turned up! It was a tough pill to swallow especially at the hands to one of our main haters but it will only make it all the sweeter when we are passing them on the way back up! On the bright side though, this means that Rangers will no longer be contesting in the final of the Scottish Cup Final which is taking place at the same time as the Soccer 7s and ORSA convention! So every cloud and all that!
.
We’ll have more news next week about where we are with organising the 5 days of events surrounding the 7s and ORSA Convention.

http://www.therangersstandard.co.uk/index.php/articles/current-affairs/217-rangers-footballing-futureIn the mean time if you want to read a good article on the current situation at Ibrox I highly recomend this one from Chris Graham at the Rangers Standard:
 .
Back on the pitch Rangers welcome Queen’s Park to Ibrox in a return of the world’s oldest derby! Rangers comfortably sit at the top of the league by a massive 19 points with the Spiders as our closest challengers, so by defeating them it could mean we are only some 4 or 5 games away from clinching the title sometime next month.
This game kicks-off at 11pm on Saturday nigth and will be shown live in Amici via Rangers TV.
 .
In the mean time I’d like to wish you all the very best Health & Happiness in the Year of the Snake.
