There was disappointment during the week as Rangers were knocked out of the quarter-finals of the Ramsden’s Cup losing on penalties to a well drilled Queen of the South team. Ally had to yet again chop and change the side following the injury David Templeton which he sustained in the 0-0 draw to Annan the previous weekend and having such an unsettled side clearly is having an effect. Losing Andrew Little prior to the Annan game has also been a big loss following his blistering start the the campaign.
All of that is in the past now and next up we welcome Montrose to Ibrox on Sunday evening. The kick-off is 10pm local time and will be shown live in Amici via Rangers TV.
We then have a real test in the early hours of Thursday morning as we face up to Motherwell at Ibrox in the third round of the League Cup.
