It’s back to business this coming weekend as Rangers travel down to Annan Athletic as we try and get to grips with our away form. It was always going to be tricky getting used to the tighter away grounds, especially with effectively no preseason and the change in personnel but following the closure of the transfer window I’m hopeful that this coming weekend we will start to see the team gel more and display the sort of fine form we are getting used to in our home fixtures.
There was also some very positive news coming out of Auchenhowie during the week with news of 3 of our up-and-coming stars; Barrie McKay, Robbie Crawford & Lewis McLeod, pledging themselves to Rangers for the next 5 years. We have already seen some glimpses of the talent these three young men possess and hopefully they will continue to develop as the get more and more games under their belt.
If you missed it Charles Green launched a pretty scathing statement with regards the continued EBT witch-hunt. If you’ve not read it yet, then you should and I must say it is very welcome to have someone properly fighting our corner, which has not been the way for a very long time.

If you want to know even more about the shambles the SFA & the SPL have become then have a read at the article in the excellent Rangers Standard penned article by Chris Graham:
If you don’t already subscribe to The Rangers Standard then I would highly recommend it along with Bill McMurdo’s blog which is featured on the Copland Road Organisation website.
It really is refreshing to have such a wide and varied choice of informed reading relating to all things Rangers.
