Scottish Cup weekend *UPDATE*

THIS GAME IS NOT BEING SHOWN LIVE IN AMICI

Unfortunately Rangers TV are not covering this game tonight due to a rights issue with the SFA, so I’m afraid the game will not be shown live in Amici.

Therefore the next live game will be next week when we travel to face St. Johnstone. See you then.

Happy New Year to everyone. Last week against Motherwell was probably the best home performance since we defeated Celtc!

This was all done with what looked like a shadow squad. With Jelavic out “injured” and Lafferty pulling up with a hamstring injury after 10 minutes things looked bleak.

John Fleck was Lafferty’s replacement and was excellent. What then transpired was a show of incisive attacking football with both Wallace & Aluko the stand-out performers. Davis looked like he was getting back to his best too. Hopefully this won’t be a false dawn and we continue the New Year with the same performance levels. Getting back to Fleck I really hope he gets a proper run in the team now as I think a regular game for him could really see him develop.

Next up for the Gers though is a trip to Gayfield Park to play Arbroath in the 4th round of the Scottish. It’s an “early” Sunday kick-off, so will start at 8:45pm.

Also, next week I’ll be sending out further details about the upcoming visit by Lorenzo Amoruso & Andy Goram.

As a quick reminder they will be here from the 18th to the 21st of February and we’ve already lined up some excellent events for them.
