In what was a very workmanlike performance last week away to Hibs, Rangers managed to keep the gap ahead of Celtc to 4 crucial points, especially with the next Old Firm game on the horizon.
It certainly wasn’t the prettiest with McCulloch, Edu & Bartley all starting in midfield, but thankfully through the introduction of young Scandinavian Bendiksen, Rangers started to play with a bit more fluidity. Here are the goals from last week:

On the subject of the next Old Firm game, this will take place in the early hours of Thursday 29th December @3:45am! Why the SPL thinks it’s a good idea to move an Old Firm game to a night-time kick-off in the middle of the festive period is beyond me. There is a reason these games have been played at lunchtime for the last decade, so good luck with that one! Especially with all the nonsense from last season it just makes the decision even more bizarre. Anyway, as a result we suffer but I’m hopeful Amici will open for us if we can guarantee good numbers. News on that to follow nearer the time.
This coming Saturday we’ll be back in our natural home of Amici as Rangers take on Inverness Caley Thistle at Ibrox. As it’s a “Saturday 3pm kick-off” it means we will have to watch via RangersTV (so 11:00pm for us).
The keen eyed amongst you will no doubt recognise young Andy Shinnie plying his trade for Caley having been released by Rangers last season. Having wowed us all here in Hong Kong at previous Soccer 7s it will be interesting to see how he performs against his former club.
