Rangers back in action

In what has seemed like an eternity, normal service will be resumed this Saturday night as the Rangers welcome St. Johnstone to Ibrox.

The Super J’s (so named as they are the only team in senior Scottish or English football with a J in their name!) have recently appointed former Norn Iron international Steve Lomas as their new manager, replacing former Ger Derek McInnes. It’s interesting to see that McInnes has made an immediate impact down at Bristol City and my hope is that the same doesn’t happen with Lomas! It’s important that we get back to winning ways after creating a fair amount of momentum.

For Saturday night’s match, which kicks-off at 11pm, Amici have a private function booked up until 11pm, so depending on how the evening is going, we might have to miss the first couple of minutes of the game. I’m hoping, as are the Amici staff, that we will be allowed in with a little time to spare. So please take note not to turn up until just before kick-off.

As is the case with other Saturday, 3pm kick-offs, this game is not being screened by any of the satellite channels and hence we will be screening the game via RangersTV.
