Against Hearts last weekend Rangers played in such a fashion that they never really looked under too much pressure. It just had the feel that everything was under control. The line-up was slightly more defensive than we have seen at late, but it worked a treat as Naismith scored a cracker following a trademark run from Whittaker. Even more encouraging is when things looked as if they could be going against us in the second half, even though we were one nil up Ally decided to attack and brought on Wylde & Jelavic – and what a substitution it was with big Jela scoring a sublime goal with his very first touch. Both goals can be viewed here:

Next up for the teddies is a trip up to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen. As ever these bams will raise their game as if it’s the World Cup final – when will these muppets realise that they are not our rivals! It will no doubt therefore be a fiery affair which brings its own challenges.
This game takes place on Saturday evening and kicks-off at 7:00pm* local time and will be shown live in Amici via Goal TV.
*note that the clocks change in the UK on Sunday morning, so the time difference will revert back to 8 hours for next week’s game.
