Back to real business

Following the not too unexpected failure of the Scottish national team in its bid to qualify for the Euro 2012 play-offs its back to business for the Gers as we entertain St. Mirren at Ibrox on Saturday. For me the damage was done in the early in the campaign with bad decisions made against Lithuania and the debacle in Prague. In saying that it does seem that the team has improved under Levein of late and I think it would be a mistake to replace him when the players seem to have bought into his vision. We can look forward to watching the Euro’s next summer and see which team ends up as runners up to eventual winners Spain – they are simply on a different level.

Getting back to the Gers It seems of the vast number of players we had away on international duty have all returned unscathed, so hopefully we can continue in the rich vein of form before the international break.

The St. Mirren game kicks-off at 10:00pm on Saturday night and for some reason has been overlooked by Goal TV, so it will be streamed live via Rangers TV in Amici.
