After the highs of last Sunday we then suffered the low of being knocked out of the League Cup by First Division Falkirk, deservedly by all accounts.
Ally had made a number of changes to the side, but they should have been more than capable of handling the situation. Maybe this can be turned into a timely reminder to all of the standards that must be maintained at all times as soon as you put on that Royal Blue jersey.
Next up for the Rangers is a trip to East End Park on Saturday to face newly promoted Dunfermline. This will provide a perfect opportunity to atone for the midweek slip-up and enhance our lead at the top of the SPL.
