Rangers vs Celtc – Sunday 2 January @ 8.45pm live in Amici.
As I’m sure you are all well aware, the next match for the Rangers is against our Old Firm rivals Celtc.
It’s still not clear if Naismith will win his fitness fight – McCoist has been quoted in the press stating that he is hopeful – but I have read that Beattie, Lafferty & Webster all played in a closed-door bounce game during the week, so good news on that front.
Rangers were excellent the other night against Motherwell and played the game at a great tempo from start to finish (highlights below). We need to make sure we do the same on Sunday and show the right amount of hunger too.
As is the norm, the game will be shown live in Amici via Goal TV1 and kicks off at 8.45pm.
If anyone would like to meet up beforehand, a number of the HK bears are planning to have a few drinks in the Captain’s Bar of the Mandarin Oriental from around 5pm.
This Sunday’s game marks the 40th anniversary of the Ibrox disaster.
A series of commemorative events have been organised by the club including a memorial service on the 3rd. This will be screened live on RangersTV.
Also, at some point later today an hour long special documentary entitled “Stairway 13 – Always Remembered” will be made available on RangersTV. This will be free to view to everyone registered on the site or not. http://www.rangerstv.tv/
It just remains for me to say that I hope you enjoy your Hogmanay night and to have a Happy New Year when it comes.
